Defining Moments Spa Services

Defining Moments in Middlebury, CT is officially ready to start construction to make room for additional spa services!  Owner JR Laliberte said, “We should be done no later than March first.”  We are extremely excited to offer these services and are offering spa and salon gift certificates for Valentines Day! Middlebury Hair Center SOLD

Middlebury resident J-R Laliberte purchased the salon from Carolyn Gaffney who recently moved.
The salon now called “Defining Moments Salon and Spa Services” is located at 344 Middlebury Rd in
Middlebury and has been in business for 8 years. All of the staff employed by previous ownership has
stayed on. Four new stylists have already joined Defining Moments including Rhonda Wroten who
previously owned a salon in Middlebury called Tendrils for 20 years. New salon manager Stori Rancourt
who recently trained and worked in NYC with runway models stated the new salon team is focused on
turning the salon into the most accessible cosmetology source for local residents. The salon will now be
open seven days a week with weekday hours extending every evening until 8pm. J-R was quick to add in
the recommendation of calling for an appointment.

Stori stated; “Over the next 60 days additional spa services such as nails, waxing and massages will be
added into the menu as well as a real barber service for men which Middlebury is in dire need of. The
stylists on staff have some real talent in everything from color restoration to hair straightening to that
up do for special occasions!”
